## TOWN OF NEW GLASGOW ## DEED TRANSFER TAX BYLAW - This Bylaw is entitled the "Deed Transfer Tax Bylaw". - A deed transfer tax applies to the Town of New Glasgow. - The rate of the deed transfer tax in the Town of New Glasgow is 1 percent (1%) of the value of the property transferred. 4. Sections 102 - 110 of the Municipal Government Act apply to the Town of New Glasgow. - The Registrar of Deeds shall be the agent and collector of the deed transfer tax for the Town of New Glasgow in accordance with the agreement to that effect between the municipality and the Minister of Services Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations. I, Lisa M. MacDonald, CAO of the Town of New Glasgow do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a bylaw duly passed at a duly called meeting of the Town Council duly convened and held on the 15th day of June, 2009.
