It shall be the policy of the Region of Queens Municipality to ensure that physical
restraints
are
not
utilized
at
Hillsview
Acres
unless
under
exceptional
circumstances
Policy Obiectives

02 That unless periodically required in exceptional circumstances for the benefit or
protection of a resident staff or visitors to the facility physical restraints will not
be utilized within the facility to control or limit a resident
s activity
