( ( THE MIB\TJCIPAIJlY LA MUNICIPALITE OF THE COUNlY OF DU COMTE DE .... ilfl· J!mf li/)· RICHMOND MUNICIPALITY OF THE COUNTY OF RICHMOND BY-LAW#43 DEED TRANSFER TAX BY-LAW ·1) This By-Law is entitled the "Deed Transfer TCx By-Law". 2) · A Deed Transfer Tax applies in the Municipality of the County of Richmond. 3) On every deed a tax of one and a half percent of the value of the property thereby conveyed is imposed and levied and payable to the municipal unit within which the property lies. 4) The Registrar of Deeds shall be the agent and. collector of the Deed Transfer Tax for the Municipality of the County of Richmond in accordance with the agreement to that effect between the Municipality of the County of Richmond and the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations.
