## POLICY
Municipality of the District of St. Mary's
## OVERLAND FLOOD DAMAGE
- When requests are received to have assessments reduced as a direct result of overland flood damage, the request will be referred to the Finance Committee for recommendation to Council at the next regular monthly meeting.
- The St. Mary's Finance Committee will review the request in consultation with the local Emergency Measures Co-ordinator. A recommendation will be made to Council.
- If the request is warranted, Council will direct the Municipal Clerk to Notify the Director of Assessment. The Assessment Department will be asked to assess the property.
