## 1. Purpose
- 1.1. The primary purpose of the Water System Service Area Policy is to provide clarity on the protection levy, if imposed by Town By-law, as provided in Section 80(1) of the Municipal Government Act (R.S.N.S 1998, c. 18).
## 2. Policy
## 2.1. Water System Service Area
- 2.1.1. The water system service area is designated as all of the area situate within the borders of the Town of Trenton except:
- 2.1.1.2. that area consisting of properties situate within the Town boundaries and fronting on that section of Park Road lying to the east of the entrance to Trenton Park;
- 2.1.1.1. that area consisting of properties situate within the Town boundaries and fronting on Little Harbour Road;
- 2.1.1.3. that area consisting of properties situate within the Town boundaries and fronting on Egypt Road;
- 2.1.2. Council may, with the required approval of the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board, expand or reduce the water system service area designated in this policy.
