1.
This By-Law is entitled the "Deed Transfer Tax Bylaw".
2.
A deed transfer tax applies in the Town of Truro.
3.
Effective June 15, 2025, the rate of the deed transfer tax in the Town of Truro is
1.5 percent of the value of the land transferred.
4.
The Town of Truro Deed Transfer Tax Bylaw passed by Truro Town Council on
May 4, 2009, is repealed and this Bylaw is substituted in its place.
