TOY 80 - Road Trails Designation Bylaw Town of Yarmouth ROAD TRAILS DESIGNATION BYLAW Effective: November 1st, 2023 TOY 80 WHEREAS the Road Trails Act, SNS 2023, c.4 permits the Town by Bylaw to designate a highway or part of a highway as a road trail. 1.0 Short Title This Bylaw shall be known as Bylaw 80 and may be cited as the "Road Trails Designation Bylaw". 2.0 Definitions In this Bylaw: a. ""Highway" means a public highway, street, lane, road, alley, park, beach, or place, including the bridges thereon and private property that is designated to be and is accessible to the general public for the operation of a motor vehicle; and b. "Road trail" means the shoulder and travelled portion of a highway designated under this Bylaw, but does not include a ditch. 3.0 Designation The Town hereby designates all of Water Street as a Road Trail within the meaning of Section 5 of the Road Trails Act.
