BY-LAW NO. 15 - 07 Repeals By-Law No. 97-07
BEING A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NORMAN WELLS IN THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES TO REPEAL CERTAIN BY-LAW ROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF SNOW, ICE, DIRT, GARBAGE OR OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS FROM THE BRICK WALKWAY SYSTEM IN THE DOWNTOWN CORE BY ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS OR OCCUPIERS PURSUANT TO THE CITIES, TOWNS AND VILLAGES ACT, S.N.W.T. 2003, C-22.
WHEREAS Council for the Town of Norman Wells deems it appropriate to repeal By-Law 97-07 as the town's Public Works department has been performing snow clearing services at no charge.
NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF NORMAN WELLS ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. SHORT TITLE Snow Clearing By-Law
2. That By-Law 97-07, referred to as the "snow clearing" By-Law is hereby repealed.
4. GENERAL
This By-Law shall come into full force and effect upon third and final reading.
