BY-LAW NO. 219
BEING A BY-LAW of the Incorporated Town of Iqaluit in the Northwest Territories to repeal By-Law 204, the Recycling By-Law;
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient and desirable to repeal By-Law 204, the Recycling By-Law; and
WHEREAS the Cities, Towns and Villages act, S.N.W.T., 1987 (1), c. 14, s.66 (1) and s.66 (2) provides for the repeal of By-Laws;
NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE INCORPORATED TOWN OF IQALUIT in regular session duly assembled, enacts as follows;
That By-Law 204, the Recycling By-Law is hereby repealed

A By-Law of the Municipal Corporation of the Town of Iqaluit, in the Northwest Territories authorizing the Town to amend parts of By-Law #200, the Water and Sewer Services By-Law;
WHEREAS the Cities, Towns and Villages Act, R.S.N. W.T., 1988, C.S., Sections 78 to 84, 89 to 94 and 169 provides for the municipalities to establish, operate, maintain and alter water and sewer systems and levy and collect water and sewer service charges;
NOW, THEREFORE PURUSANT to the provisions of the Cities, Towns and Villages Act, and notwithstanding of any by-laws, sections thereof, resolutions or prior enactments;
THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF QALUIT, in regular session duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows:
1. Water and Sewer Services By-Law #200 is hereby amended by deleting Schedule "A" in its entirety and substituting Schedule "A" of By-Law #477.
2. By-Law #315 and By-Law #364 are hereby repealed.
3. This By-Law shall come into effect upon receiving Third and Final Reading thereof.

## SCHEDULE "A"
## CHARGES FOR WATER SUPPLY AND THE USE OF THE SEWAGE SYSTEM
## MUNICIPAL SERVICES RATES STARTING JANUARY 1, 1999
- Subject to subsection (2), the rates payable by customers for municipal services are as follows:
