| Accessibility Policies |
| On June 20, 2022 Council adopted the Integrated Accessibility Standards Policy which is aimed at identifying and removing barriers for persons with disabilities in Brighton. |
| Accessibility Plan |
| In accordance with Section 4 of Ontario Regulation 191/11 Integrated Accessibility Standards, The Municipality of Brighton has updated its Accessibility Plan for the years covering 2026-2030. The Municipality of Brighton's 2026 to 2030 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan was reviewed by the Accessibility Advisory Committee and was adopted by Council at their November 13, 2025 meeting. | Accessibility Advisory Committee |
| Brighton's Accessibility Advisory Committee provide advice to Council on a wide range of municipal processes to help make public services and facilities accessible to everyone. The committee meets a minimum of three times per year and members are appointed by Council. |

| Accessible Transit |
| Quinte Transit provides specialized transportation for persons with disabilities and seniors in the Municipality of Brighton and the City of Quinte West. The service operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with evening, weekend and holiday service available upon request. For more information, contact Quinte Transit at (613) 392-9640. |
| Accessibility Compliance |
| Organizations required under the *Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005* are required to submit compliance reports to the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility. The Municipality of Brighton submitted its 2023 Accessibility Compliance Report on November 13, 2023. |
