# Search By-laws
Whether you're a resident, business owner, or just want to know more about local by-laws, this page makes it easy to find the information you're looking for.
## Routine disclosure
We provide online access to copies of current bylaws from 1996 to the present. You can get information on bylaws before 1996 by emailing [email protected]. Routine disclosure fees may apply.
If you require a certified true copy of a bylaw and its applicable amending bylaws, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 905-335-7777. Please include the relevant bylaw number in your request. Commissioning fees apply for the certification process.

### Amended By
Amending by-laws change the content of another by-law. If a by-law has been amended (i.e. changed), the associated amending by-laws should also be reviewed.
### Repealed By
When a by-law is repealed by City Council, it no longer applies as a piece of municipal legislation. If you wish to view a repealed by-law, please contact [email protected]
### Consolidated
Consolidated by-laws include an original by-law and any amending by-laws, compiled together in one document.
