# Community Safety & Well Being Plan
### South Georgian Bay & Springwater Community Safety and Well Being Plan 2025 - 2029
The 2025-2029 South Georgian Bay and Springwater Community Safety and Well Being Plan takes a multi-sectoral approach to identify local risks, service gaps, service accessibility and resource sustainability and outlines strategies to allow for a safer, more diverse community that promotes equality and inclusion.
To plan for the future, community safety and well-being must be a shared commitment that is grounded in local leadership, meaningful multi-sectoral collaboration and must include community-focused responses, rooted in evidence and outcome-based.
Ontario municipalities are required by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services to develop and adopt community safety and well-being plans working in partnership with a multi-sectoral advisory committee comprised of representation from the police service board and other local service providers in health/mental health, education, community/social services and children/youth services.
Clearview partnered with the Town of Collingwood, the Township of Springwater, and the Town of Wasaga Beach to implement the 2025-2029 South Georgian Bay & Springwater Community Safety and Well Being Plan. This plan was adopted by Clearview Council in July 2025. View the full plan here:
