# Landfill & Recycling
The Township of Dorion Landfill site is available to all residents of Dorion for the disposal of waste and recycling. All users entering the landfill must display their sticker in the inside low-left corner of their windshield, and must be visible to the landfill attendant. Each household is allowed one free sticker, though other stickers are available with a $5 administration fee to cover costs.
Only waste originating from and/or generated by residents of the Township of Dorion is permitted. Certain restricted items such as sewage, electronic appliances, tires, and motor oil are not permitted. A full list of non-permitted items can be found in the Township of Dorion By-law No. 777-10. (Please note: all by-laws provided in PDF format on this website are for informational purposes only. The official by-laws are kept at the Township offices and, if there is a discrepancy, these official by-laws will be taken as correct.)
