THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF EAST FERRIS
BY-LAW NO. 2026-28
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2025-50; A BY-LAW WITH RESPECT TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT AND REQUIREMENT OF THE PAYMENT OF FEES FOR
INFORMATION, SERVICES, ACTIVITIES AND USE OF THE CORPORATION'S
PROPERTY.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of East Ferris may pass by-laws
establishing and requiring the payment of fees for information, services, activities and use of
the Municipality's property;
AND WHEREAS Section 391 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 as amended,
provides for a municipality to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on persons for services
and activities provided or done by or on behalf of it, for cost payable by it for services or
activities provided or done by or on behalf of any other municipality or local board, and for the
use of its property including property under its control;
AND WHEREAS By-law No. 2025-50 was passed on December 9th, 2025 setting fees and
charges on behalf of the Municipality of East Ferris;
AND WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris deems it desirable to amend
Schedule "G" Building Services of By-law No. 2025-50;
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of East Ferris enacts as
follows:
1) THAT Schedule "G" of By-law No. 2025-50 be removed and replaced with revised
Schedule "G" as attached.
2) THAT this By-law shall come into force and take effect upon adoption.
3) THAT all other provisions of By-law No. 2025-50 shall remain in effect.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 9th day of June, 2026.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 9th day of June, 2026.
