THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF GEORGINA IN THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK BYLAW NUMBER 2023~0062 (L1~3) BEING A BYLAW TO AMEND BYLAW NO. 2019~0061 (Ll~3) TO LICENSE, REGULATE AND GOVERN SHORT~TERM RENTAL ACCOMMODATIONS WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Georgina may, pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001, S$.0.2001, c.25. as amended, enact bylaws for the licensing, regulating and governing of businesses and occupations in the Town of Georgina; AND WHEREAS on October 09, 2019, Town Council enacted Bylaw No. 2019~0061 (Ll~3) to License, Regulate and Govern Short~term Rental Accommodation within the Town of Georgina; AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Georgina considers it appropriate to amend Bylaw Number 2019~0061 (LI~3) as hereinafter set out; NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Georgina hereby enacts as follows: 1. THAT Section 2(3) be deleted from the said Bylaw No. 2019~0061 (Ll~3). 2. THAT Section 2(6)(a) be deleted from the said Bylaw No. 2019~ 0061 (LI~3). 3. THAT Section 12(3) of the said Bylaw No. 2019~0061 (Ll~3) be amended to read as follows: "The Short~term Rental Accommodation Committee will consider the application for variance and may authorize a variance from the provisions of any of Sections 2 (5) (a), 2 (5) (c), 2 (5) (d) and 2 (8) of this by~law where such variance is desirable for the appropriate use of the Premises and the general intent and purpose of this bylaw are maintained,;" 4.
