Learn about our plan to manage them * Budget and Financial Reports Learn about how and where the Town spends it's capital and operating budget * Building Permit Fee Report The Town of Grimsby is required to produce an Annual Building Permit Fee Report. This report provides information regarding the building permit fees collected and the costs associated with the administration and enforcement of the Building Code Act. * Corporate Climate Action Plan The Corporate Climate Action Plan focuses on emissions and climate risks associated with Town-owned buildings, facilities, vehicles, streetlighting, and other municipal infrastructure and operations. It establishes a clear, evidence-based roadmap for reducing corporate greenhouse gas emissions while aligning with asset management, budgeting, and service delivery priorities. This plan does not address community-wide emissions from residents or businesses. * Corporate Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management Plan The Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) program guides municipalities through a Five-Milestone Framework to help them take action on climate change by reducing local greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Town has recently completed Milestones 1 and 2 by building off the data collected in the CDM plan. Milestone 1 focused on creating a greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) inventory. Milestone 2 focused on setting an emissions reduction target based on the data collected in Milestone 1. * Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plan To comply with O.Reg 25/23 the Town of Grimsby has prepared and published an Energy Conservation and Demand Management plan. The plan documents annual energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions resulting from municipal operations, and describe previous, current and proposed measures for conserving and reducing the amount of energy consumed. * Fire Safety Plans Numerous facilities owned by the Town of Grimsby require formal Fire Safety Plans * Official Plan The Town's official plan governs land use in Grimsby * Parks, Recreations and Culture Master Plan The Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan provide a framework for the future of these services in Grimsby * Recreational Trails Master Plan The Recreational Trails Master Plan outlines the strategic outlook for recreational opportunities in thee form of on and off-road trails over the next 20 years. It has been designed to support and grow the active transportation possibilities through strategic trail connections that bridge the natural environment and the community of Grimsby for all who choose this town to walk, cycle, ride, or roll.
