# Animal Control The Township of Hornepayne's Animal By-law outlines rules and regulations for pets and animals in the community. View the by-law to learn more about: * Prohibited animals and exceptions * Animals running at large * Impounded animals * Defecation by animals We encourage pet owners to treat their animals humanely and to be respectful of other community members by always keeping animals under control. ## Dog and cat tags Dogs and cats must be licensed with the Township each year as per our Animal Control By-law.
