By-Law Enforcement
Our bylaw enforcement officer investigates, enforces and educates residents on municipal bylaws. The Township's primary focus in enforcement is education. Wherever possible, the officer work with residents to resolve violations by achieving compliance and ensuring steps are taken to resolve the initial violation.

## By-Law 24-04 Clean Yards
The Clean Yards By-law 24-04 sets out minimum standards for properties in the Township of James including some rules on litter, waste and property maintenance to help ensure that properties are safe, clean and attractive.
The Clean Yards By-law has rules regarding:
Undesirable Material
Storage of Motor Vehicles
Temporary Storage
Outside Storage of Refuse, Compost or Recyclable Material
