1. POLICY STATEMENT
It is the policy of the Township of Lanark Highlands to waive the LDCC rental fee in
effect from time to time for events/functions operated directly by or on behalf of the
municipality.
2. SCOPE
This policy applies to, but is not necessarily limited to, municipally sanctioned
events such as festivals (e.g. Art of Being Green Energy Festival) and fundraising
events run by municipal employee groups (e.g. volunteer firefighters), provided that
all funds raised are used for the benefit of the municipality.
3. PROCEDURE
3.01 This policy applies only to events/functions operated directly by or on behalf
of the municipality. Other user groups must pay the applicable rental fees in
effect from time to time unless otherwise exempted by Council.
4. RESPONSIBILITY
The Arena Manager, Treasurer, and Chief Administrative Officer are jointly
responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy.
