THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MISSISSIPPI MILLS
BY-LAW NO. 23-069
BEING a by-law to amend Traffic and Parking By-law 02-27.
WHEREAS under section 11(2) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, a lower-tier
municipality may pass by-laws respecting matters within the following sphere of
jurisdiction: highways, including parking and traffic on highways;
AND WHEREAS Council passed Traffic and Parking By-law 02-27 on February 12, 2002;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills
enacts as follows:
1.
That Part 2 Section 13 - WINTER PARKING RESTRICTIONS be amended as
follows:
(1)
No person shall park, or stand a vehicle or permit a vehicle to remain parked
on any highway or in a municipal parking lot between the hours of 1:30 a.m.
to 7:00 a.m. from December 1st in any year to March 31st of the following
year, both dates inclusive.
(2)
No person shall park, or stand a vehicle or permit a vehicle to remain
parked on any highway or in a municipal parking lot between the hours of
1:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. from April 1 in any year to November 30, on dates
when snow or freezing rain is forecasted, and for an additional 4 calendar
days after an event where snow has accumulated.

By-law 02-27 is hereby amended.
3.
This by-law shall come into force on the day of its passing.
