THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF O'CONNOR POLICY FOR HALL RENTALS FOR NON-PROFIT EVENTS PURPOSE: To establish the standards for hall rentals for non-profit events. DEFINITION: Non-profit events are events where no monies are made, and no admission fee is charged. ELIGIBILITY: Groups who are holding meetings, community bridal showers and children events ie: Brownies, TOPS, Guides, Cubs, Scouts, community bridal showers, etc. GUIDELINES: Any group/person using the hall as a non-profit use must: 1) pick up the key from Township office 2) leave hall in same condition as when they arrived 3) clean any dishes they use 4) be sure all lights, fans, etc are off 5) lock door and return key POLICY STATEMENT: Council will revoke the use of hall to any non-profit group/person who does not abide by this policy. EFFECTIVE DATE: This policy shall come into effect as of September 25, 2000 Reference - Amended by Council Resolution # 9 - November 23, 2009.
