THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF O'CONNOR POLICY FOR SNOWPLOWING: WINTER MAINTENANCE (is in effect) (will take effect) OCTOBER 1 AND (will) RUN UNTIL APRIL 30TH. PURPOSE: To establish the standards for snowplowing and the snowplow routes for the Township of O'Connor. FIRST PRIORITY ROADS: 2" to 4" of snow - the First Priority Roads, as described and shown on the attached routes and maps, will be snowplowed both ways within four to six hours at the end of the snow accumulation, with routes and times subject to change at the Road Superintendent/Leadhand's discretion. SECOND PRIORITY ROADS: The Second Priority Roads, as shown on the attached maps, will only be snowplowed upon request. HIGH WIND CONDITIONS: Priority roads during High Wind Conditions are identified on the attached map, the order of snowplowing will be up to the discretion of the Road Superintendent/Leadhand. POLICY STATEMENT: Anything outside of these minimum maintenance standards will be strictly up to the discretion of the Road Superintendent/Leadhand. EFFECTIVE DATE: This policy shall come into effect as of February 1, 1992.
