# Freedom of Information
To access any records held by the Municipality of South Bruce, we encourage you to first view our website or contact the Municipal Office. We try to make many of our records available to the public for your reference. Under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, you have the right to:
* Request information known as a Freedom of Information (FOI) Request
* Access information under the Municipality's control
* Protect your privacy of personal information held by institutions

### Submitting an FOI Request
To apply for an FOI request, fill out our FOI request form. Please provide a detailed request about the information you would like to view. You will be charged a $5 fee when you submit your request. You can make this payment in-person or by mail to the Municipal Office:

Please note there may be extra fees for printing, photocopies, or search time to gather the information you have requested.
