## Recitals
- By-law 135-1992, being a by-law to prohibit and regulate Signs and other Advertising Devices in the City of Thunder Bay was enacted and passed May 25, 1992.
- On March 13, 2017, City Council approved the recommendations of Committee of the Whole dated February 27, 2017, arising out of Report No. R 38/2017 (Development and Emergency Services - Licensing and Enforcement).
3. City Council deems it necessary and expedient to amend By-law 135-1992.
ACCORDINGLY, THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF THUNDER BAY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. SECTION 9 - SIGNS IN COMMERCIAL ZONES is amended by adding the following section:
2. 9.1 (b) (v) One ground sign is permitted for properties with up to one-hundred metres of frontage, with a maximum of two signs permitted provided the total frontage exceeds one-hundred metres.
2. This By-law shall come into force and take effect on the date it is passed
