The "Fit Together" - Recreation and Facilities Master Plan provides the framework for future investment into the City's recreational facilities, programming and services over the next 12-15 years.
The plan provides recommendations regarding older adult, youth, community centre and indoor / outdoor recreation facilities. Over 1600 community members provided input into the Plan. It was presented to City Council as a First Report on Nov. 14, 2016 and returned for approval on Jan. 16, 2017. The Plan is currently in its implementation phase with annual reports going to Council on the status of key priority items.
