The City of Thunder Bay, with participation and funding assistance from the Province of Ontario and the Federal Government, commissioned a study in late 1993 to investigate direct municipal discharges to water course in the Thunder Bay urban service area. The purpose of this study was to develop a Pollution Prevention and Control Plan (document not accessible) for the City of Thunder Bay and urban service area.
