In today's day and age, we find ourselves living and working in a digital, technology-driven world. Our reliance upon technology became even more evident through the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are embracing our digital world and have developed a digital strategy for the City of Thunder Bay. The Digital Strategy is all about how we can use technology to make our community work better in the digital age. It sets out the framework for delivering customer-centred, digitally-powered City services and identifies a number of digital initiatives to be actioned.
The development of the Strategy was informed though a collaborative approach that included input from all City Divisions, committees of council (Community Communications , Accessibility Advisory), members of City Council, the Executive Management Team , various external stakeholders and the public citizens. Learn more about the public engagement for the Digital Strategy.
Perry Group Consulting was employed by the City to take-on this work and develop our roadmap to transform service delivery and City processes for you, our residents. The Digital Strategy was presented before City Council as a first report on Nov. 22, 2021, and approved on Dec. 20, 2021.
