# Accessibility The Municipality of Trent Lakes acknowledges and recognizes the diversity in our community. We strive to provide accessible, user-friendly, and inclusive customer service to everyone. Please tell us about your experience with our services and report any accessibility issues. We are always looking for ways to remove barriers and make sure that our programs and services are accessible. ## Request a document Please contact us if you'd like to a request a document in an alternate format. We will respond to all requests in a timely manner. There may be a cost associated with this, however, it will not cost more than the original format. If we are unable to provide the document in an alternate format, we will give you a reason or offer a summary of the document in an accessible format. We will provide communication supports to members of the public upon request. If the Municipality is unable to get the requested communication support, we will work with you to determine an appropriate alternative method of communication. ## Website accessibility We will create websites and web content that meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. ## Accessibility Policy and Plan Our Integrated Accessibility Standards Policy, Accessible Customer Service Policy, and 2023-2027 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan show how we are working towards making our services more accessible. Annually, municipalities are required to prepare an annual status report on the progress of measures taken to implement the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan and post the status report on their website.
