.:.· ## THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MICHIPICOTEN ## BY-LAW NO. 1106-97 BEING A BY-LAW to amend Township of Michipicoten By-Law No. 249-83, which prohibits the obstruction of all highways within the Township of Michipicoten by dumping of snow thereon. WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter M.45, Section 314, provides that the councils of municipalities may pass by-laws for prohibiting or regulating the obstructing, encumbering, injuring or fouling of highways and bridges; AND WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Michipicoten deems it advisable to amend By-Law No. 249-83, which prohibits the obstruction of all highways within the Township of Michipicoten by the dumping of snow thereon; NOWTHEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Michipicoten enacts the following as a By-Law: 1. That Township of Michipicoten By-Law No. 249-83 be and is hereby amended by deleting therefrom Section 4 and substituting the following: - "1. Every person who contravenes any provision of this by-law is guilty of an offence and on conviction is liable to a fine as provided for in Section 61 of the Provincial Offences Act."
