## FOLLOW THESE RULES FOR SAFE BURNING:
1. The fire is to be ignited no sooner than 2 hours before sunset and must be extinguished 2 hours after sunrise or earlier.
2. Only burn untreated wood, brush, leaves or discarded wood by-products.
3. Do not leave any fire unattended.
4. The fire does not exceed 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) in height and 1 meter (3.2 feet) in diameter and is in an approved fire pit.
5. I understand that I will be held fully responsible for any damage to property or injury to persons caused by my fire.
- At no time will your fire, or the smoke emitted from your fire, become a nuisance to your neighbours or any residents within the Township of White River.
- understand that I shall be held fully liable for the cost of fire response from the White River Volunteer Fire Department includin ersonnel, equipment and apparatus called in to extinguish my fire at the approved rate set forth by the Ministry of Transportation on suc date of the fire.
- The Public Works Superintendent and/or the Fire Chief or their designate have the authority to cancel a fire permit immediately if it is found that you are in contravention of any of the conditions of this fire permit.
- You must keep your fire permit at your fire site and must be able to produce it when asked by the Public Works Superintendent or their designate and/or the Fire Chief or their designate.
10. Fire Permits are required from April 1 to October 31 of each year and expire on October 31 of each year that they are issued.
