TOWN OF O'LEARY BYLAW # 2015-2 BYLAW RELATING TO BUSINESSES AND LICENSING THEREOF Be it enacted by the Council of the Town of O'Leary as follows: 1. That all previous bylaws and amendments relating to Businesses and Licensing Thereof be replaced by this Bylaw # 2015-2. 2. No person, firm or corporation or the agent thereof shall conduct any art, trade, calling, business or profession within the boundaries of the Town of O'Leary unless and until a license or permit to do so has been issued by the Town Council of O'Leary. 3. The conditions under which the license or permit is granted shall be set forth by the Council and contained in the body of the license form issued. 4. The person, firm or corporation conducting any art, trade, calling, business or profession within the boundaries of the Town of O'Leary shall be responsible for obtaining a license or permit prior to commencement of its business. 5. The fee for any license or permit issued under this part shall be not less than five dollars and not more than fifty dollars in each calendar year and may be cancelled at any time by the Town Council for breach of the conditions under which such license or permit was issued. The amount of the fee for each license shall be set by the Town Council at the time of issuance of such license. 6. Provided, however, the Town Council may exempt from the payment of any fee as set out above, any person, firm or corporation which is engaged exclusively for charitable or benevolent purposes.
