## TOWN OF THREE RIVERS ## TOWN-OWNED FACILITIES GRANT POLICY Policy Number: Approved By: TRG-3 Town Council Date of Approval: March 11, 2019 ## Policy Statement The Town recognizes the need to provide operational funding for municipally owned assets, whether they are operated directly by the Town or by volunteer groups. ## Scope This policy applies to all not-for-profit organizations which carry out operations of municipal assets. ## Guiding Principles and Processes Organizations must submit a written request by December 31 of the year previous to the commencement of the fiscal year for which funding is requested. Financial statements for the previous year and an operations budget for the year for which funding is sought must accompany the written request for grant consideration. Town support is not for the purpose of adding to the profit margin. ## Responsibility Council shall maintain responsibility for final approval or rejection of grant requests.
