The regional complete fire ban has now been lifted.
Fires are now permitted only in an approved fire installation, equipped with a spark arrestor, and set up on a compacted soil or gravel surface.

À compter de 15 h aujourd'hui, l'interdiction totale de faire des feux est levée.

As of 3:00 PM today, the total fire ban has been lifted.
Regular bylaws are now back in effect, which means that open fires remain prohibited across the region.
✅ Still permitted:
Approved fire installations equipped with spark arrestors and set up on compacted soil or gravel surfaces.
📍 Please note that some municipalities may have stricter regulations or require permits.
👉 We encourage you to check with your local municipality for specific bylaws.

📣 COMMUNIQUÉ / NEWS RELEASE
La Municipalité de Campbell's Bay est fière d'annoncer le lancement d'une nouvelle initiative destinée aux aînés, rendue possible grâce au soutien financier du gouvernement du Canada par le biais du Programme Nouveaux Horizons pour les aînés.
Les citoyens sont invités au dévoilement officiel de la programmation estivale 2026, qui aura lieu le 12 juin 2026, de 10 h 30 à 14 h, au Centre récréatif de Campbell's Bay.
Un comité est en place afin de planifier les événements et les activités qui seront offerts dans le cadre de cette initiative.
Un BBQ communautaire organisé par le Club Lions du Pontiac sera offert gratuitement aux aînés. De la musique, des activités et des rafraîchissements seront également au rendez-vous.
Le transport est disponible par TransporAction pour les aînés de Campbell's Bay et de Litchfield. Veuillez communiquer avec le bureau municipal afin d'organiser le service de navette.

The Municipality of Campbell's Bay is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative for seniors, made possible through financial support from the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program.
Citizens are invited to attend the official unveiling of the 2026 summer programming on June 12, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Campbell's Bay Recreation Centre.
A committee is in place to plan the events and activities that will be offered as part of this initiative.
A community BBQ hosted by the Pontiac Lions Club will be offered free of charge to seniors. Music, activities and refreshments will also be available.
Transportation is available through TransporAction for seniors from Campbell's Bay and Litchfield. Please contact the municipal office to arrange shuttle service.

La Municipalité informe les citoyens que l'avis préventif de faire bouillir l'eau émis le 19 mai 2026 est maintenant levé.
Les résultats des analyses de laboratoire confirment que l'eau potable respecte toutes les normes de qualité applicables et peut être consommée en toute sécurité.
Les résidents peuvent dès maintenant reprendre l'utilisation normale de l'eau du robinet pour la consommation et la préparation des aliments.
La Municipalité remercie les citoyens pour leur patience et leur collaboration tout au long de cette mesure préventive.

✅ PREVENTATIVE BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED ✅
The Municipality is pleased to inform residents that the preventative boil water advisory issued on May 19, 2026 has now been lifted.
Laboratory test results have confirmed that the drinking water meets all applicable quality standards and is safe for consumption.
Residents may now resume normal use of tap water for drinking and cooking.
The Municipality would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation throughout this precautionary measure.

🚒 BAL DES POMPIERS DU 30 MAI 2026 - RECONNAISSANCE DES POMPIERS 🚒
Dans le cadre de la cérémonie de reconnaissance tenue lors du Bal des pompiers de cette année, les municipalités de Campbell's Bay, Litchfield, Bryson et de l'Île-du-Grand-Calumet étaient fières de rendre hommage aux pompières et pompiers pour leur dévouement, leur engagement et leur service envers nos communautés.
La soirée a également été marquée par la remise du prix Pompier junior de l'année du Service de sécurité incendie de Campbell's Bay-Litchfield (SICBL).

Le chef Kluke a remis cette distinction à Vince Belland en reconnaissance de son engagement, de son dévouement et de sa contribution au service incendie.

Décernée dans le cadre du Régime canadien de distinctions honorifiques, cette médaille reconnaît les pompiers qui ont fait preuve d'un service exemplaire, de professionnalisme et d'un engagement exceptionnel envers la sécurité publique tout au long de leur parcours au sein du service incendie. .

🚒 FIREFIGHTER'S BALL MAY 30, 2026 - FIREFIGHTER RECOGNITION 🚒
As part of the Firefighter Recognition Ceremony held during this year's Firefighter's Ball, the Municipalities of Campbell's Bay, Litchfield, Bryson and Île-du-Grand-Calumet were proud to honour firefighters for their dedication, commitment, and service to our communities.
The evening also included the presentation of the Campbell's Bay-Litchfield Fire Department (CBLFD) Junior Firefighter of the Year Award.

Chief Kluke presented this award to Vince Belland in recognition of his commitment, dedication, and contribution to the fire service.
