VILLAGE OF GLEN HARBOUR BYLAW NO 73/2024 A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF GLEN HARBOUR IN THE PROVINCE OF SASKATCHEWAN FOR BUILDING DEPOSIT The council of the Village of Glen Harbour in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: 1. Property owners will be required to place a building deposit in the amount of Five hundred dollars ($500.00) with the Village at the Ɵme of applying for a building of any type excluding under 102m. 2. The Village will refund the deposit upon the compleƟon of the building and lot in accordance with the prescribed terms contained in Appendix A of this bylaw and the lot purchase agreement, if any, and upon compleƟon of the applicaƟon for the refund. ITEMS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE A REFUND OF THE BUILDING DEPOSIT. The Village has adopted a Bylaw whereby a $500.00 building deposit will be collected at the Ɵme of the building permit applicaƟon, to ensure the requirements for the building permit and the lot purchase agreements, where applicable, are adhered to by the builder/owner. A. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENT __________ Surveyor cerƟficate and/or Real Property Report. __________ The final building inspecƟon and occupancy must be approved by the building inspector before occupancy. Move in prior to obtaining an occupancy permit may result in forfeiture of the deposit. __________ Deficiencies must be corrected as listed on the final building inspecƟon report. Once the deficiencies are corrected, a building inspecƟon may be required, if stated on the final report. Any extra inspecƟons costs will be taken from the deposit. __________ CompleƟon of outside construcƟon items on the house. Once the requirements are met, the deposit is refunded to the owner.
