Phone 223-4343 Box 189, SOK 2HO Laird, Sask. ## CONSTRUCTION BYLAW NO. 83-6 ## A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF LAIRD TO AUTHORIZE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER LINE AS\_A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT 1. That the construction is hereby authorized of an 8 inch 2. sewer line on: Second St. N. from Lot 16, Block 8 to 80 feet of Lot 5, Block 1 of Plan L396. The estimated cost is $5,000.00; the sum of $1,250.00 is to be paid by the Village of Laird at large and the sum of $3,750.00 is to be raised by special frontage assessments against the Lots abutting directly on the streets whereon the sewer line is constructed to the extent of their respective frontage thereon. 2. The estimated special annual rate per foot frontage to be 2. paid during the period of ten (10) years is .96 cents. 3. The mayor and secretary-treasurer of the Village of Laird are hereby authorized and empowered to raise from time to time by way of temporary loans or advances from any bank or person an amount sufficient to meet the cost of the work pending the completion thereof, and such loans shall be, and are hereby created a first charge upon the proceeds of any sale of debentures hereafter issued to repay the amount of said temporary loans or advances. 4.
