BYLAW NO. 3/1978 A BYLAW TO PROHIBIT THE MAKING OF UNNECESSARY NOISE IN THE OPERATION OF A VEHICLE The Council of the Village of Leask in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: 1. No person shall make any unnecessary noise in the operation of any automobile, truck, motorcycle, motor sled, motor toboggan or other vehicle, whether the same is in motion or at rest, and without limiting the foregoing in this bylaw the following noises shall be deemed to be unnecessary: (a) noises caused by rapid acceleration of the motor; (b) noises caused by making fast turns at intersections; (c) noises caused by spinning of tires; (d) noises caused by exhaust cut-outs or defective mufflers; (e) noises caused by rapidly setting a vehicle in motion. 2. A person who contravenes any of the provisions of this bylaw is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to the penalty provided in the general penalty bylaw of the Village. _____________________ Mayor _____________________ Secretary Treasurer
