BYLAW NO. 2007-MC-07
A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF MAPLE CREEK TO PROHIBIT THE USAGE AND
PRESENCE OF CHEMICAL SPRAYERS AT THE TOWN WATER TREATMENT
FACILITY AND TREATED WATER RESERVES
The Council of the Town of Maple Creek, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as
follows:
1.
No person shall operate or allow to be parked any chemical, pesticide or
herbicide sprayer within 30 meters of the Town of Maple Creek's Water treatment
facility and associated raw or treated water reservoirs.
2.
Anyone who commits an offence under the provisions of this Bylaw shall be
subject to the penalties provided for in Section 3 of this Bylaw.
3.
Anyone who is guilty of an offence under this Bylaw shall, upon summary
conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $500.00 and not more than
$2500.00.
4.
This Bylaw shall come into force and effect upon final passing by the Council of
the Town of Maple Creek.
