## TOWN OF MIDALE ## BYLAW 2017 - #03 Conservath no Waterise Restine on ina sta la the town or provide for the Emergency The Council of the Town of Midale, in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: S. This bylaw may be cited as the Emergency Conservation and Water Use Restriction Bylav in the Town of Midale. <!-- image --> emergency 2. The purpose of this bylaw is: a) to ensure the health and safety needs of the community are being met during times of an 1) to ars a certion ce bal set at to be finited or tina to case uncient and maintain sufficient flows for fire protection. c) to minimize water consumption for daily use as identified above Subsection (b) Definitions 3. in this Bylaw: a) "Designated Officer"' means an employee or agent of the Municipality appointed by Council to act as a municipal inspector for the purposes of this bylaw. b) "Town Manager" means the person appointed as the administrative head of Council. c) "Municipality" means the Town of Midale; d) "Town Water" means potable water supplies by the Town's Treatment Plant Reservoirs e) "Conservation" means the carful utilization in order to prevent depletion: 1) "Conservation Measure "means any act to reduce the utilization of water: g) "Council" means the elected Mayor and Councillors of the Town of Midale. h) "Minimize" means to reduce water consumption to the lowest level possible Authority 4. The Town Manager is hereby authorized to: a) Administer the Bylaw. the summer months. b) Ration water use by having watering schedules for the watering of lawns and gardens during c) Immediately declare any conservation measures as identified in this Bylaw. and e) Provide approval for any exemption to any of the conservation measures identified in this Bylaw 5. Every person who contravenes any provision of this bylaw is guilty of an offense and will be fined up to $ 1,000.00 per occurrence.
