Resort Village of Mistusinne
Bylaw No. 01-2025
A BYLAW OF THE RESORT VILLAGE OF MISTUSINNE
TO FIX THE RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR THE USE
OF NON-POTABLE WATER
COUNCIL of the Resort Village of Mistusinne, in the Province of
Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
1. The charges to be paid by each property owner shall be those set out in
Schedule "A" attached; provided, however, that the flat rate shall be
payable in every case whether or not any water is used.
2. Accounts for water service shall cover a period of twelve (12) successive
months (January through December), unless otherwise specified on
Schedule "A". Accounts shall be paid in full by December 31st of each
year.
3. Any accounts for water service outstanding as of December 31st will be
added to that property's taxes at year end.
4. Bulk water from the Village well source will be charged at a rate of
$1/100 gallons.
5. A penalty of 9% annually will be added to all water accounts
outstanding after December 31 of each year. Unpaid charges are a lien
on the serviced land and may be added to and form part of the taxes
owing on the land pursuant to the provisions of The Municipalities Act
6. Bylaw No. 03-24 is hereby repealed.
THE rates, charges, tolls or rents contained in this bylaw shall come into
force and take effect on the day of approval being issued by the Local
Government Committee.
