## RESORT VILLAGE OF NORTH GROVE BYLAW NO. 11-90
## A BYLAW TO CONTROL AND REGULATE NOISE
The Council of the Resort Village of North Grove, In the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
1. This Bylaw may be cited as "The Noise Bylaw".
2. In this Bylaw; including this Section:
3. "municipality" means the Resort Village of
4. (a) North Grove;
5. ‹b)
6. "holiday" means any holiday as defined in Ihe Interpretation Act, or any holiday proclaimed such by the municipality:
7. (c) "motor vehicle" means a vehicle propelled or driven by any means other than by muscular
8. power;
9. (d) "occupant" the owner, occupant licensee premises or any person on the premises around the time
10. the noise of sound issues from the premises;
11. (e) "premises" means the area contained within the boundaries 01 any lot and includes any building situated within such boundaries. Provided, however, that where any building contains more than one dwelling unit, each dwelling unit, or common area of such building and land surrounding the building within the boundaries the
12. lot shall be deemed to be separate premises;
13. (I) "residential building" means a building which is constructed as a dwelling for human beings;
14. (g) "signalling device" means a horn, gong, bell, klaxon, siren Or other device producing an audible sound the purpose of drawing people's attention to an approaching vehicle, including a bicycle;
15. ‹h) "weekday" means any day other than a holiday;
## GENERAL PROHIBITION
3. (1) Except to Bylaw, no person shall it is allowed by this continue to made, or allow to be made, or allow to be continued to be made, any unnecessary noise, or any unusual noise.

## CONSTRUCTION\_NOISES

- (a) Ten <10:00 p.m. ) o'clock in the evening and Seven 17:00 a.m.) o'clock of the next forenoon on weekdays;
- (b) Ten (10:00 p.m.) o'clock in the evening and Nine (9:00 a.m.) o'clock in the forenoon of the following day which 15 Sunday or a holiday.
## ADVERTISING NOISES
- No person shall advertise any event or merchandise blowing whistles, calling loudly, playing music, playing any type of musical Instrument, playing or using any type of noise making instrument, or other devices for the other audible means, amplification of on any street or other public place.

11. The provisions of this Bylaw shall not apply to:
