BYLAW NO. 19 OF 1935
A Bylaw of The City of Prince Albert to govern the tethering-
out of certain animals.
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to restrict the tethering-out of cows,
calves, goats and horses on premises other than those of the owner of such animals.
NOW THEREFORE THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PRINCE ALBERT IN OPEN MEETING ASSEMBLED ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

No cow, calf, goat or horse or any of them shall be tethered in any area of the
City except in the Agricultural District as defined in The Zoning Bylaw; such cow,
calf, goat or horse shall be tethered so that it may not approach nearer than
eighty (80) feet to any house, sidewalk or improved or graded public road, lane,
street, highway, square, alley or other public place; nor shall any such cow, calf,
goat or horse be tethered without the consent in writing of the occupants of all
immediately adjoining property.
(a)
The Council may by resolution permit the tethering-out of animals in areas
to be defined in the resolution other than the agricultural district of the City,
for limited periods of time to be set forth in such resolution.

Any clause or clauses of any bylaw or bylaws inconsistent with the provisions of
Section 1 hereof are hereby repealed.
3.
This bylaw shall come into force and take effect on, from and after the day of the
final passing thereof.
