## CITY OF PRINCE ALBERT BYLAW NO. 4 OF 2003 ## 1 Bylaw of the City of Prince Albert to Dispense with th reparation of Assessment Notice WHEREAS Section 184(2) of The Cities Act provides that a council may dispense with the preparation of assessment notices if the assessed value of a property: - (a) has not changed from the previous year's assessed value; or - (b) the increase or decrease in assessed value does not exceed the lesser of: - (i) $1,000 from the previous year's assessed value; and - (il) 1% of the previous year's assessed value; AND WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to enact a Bylaw to dispense with the preparation of assessment notices in the City of Prince Albert; NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRINCE ALBERT IN OPEN MEETING ASSEMBLED ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Assessor of the City of Prince Albert shall dispense with the preparation of assessment notices if the assessed value of a property: 2. (a) has not changed from the previous year's assessed value; or 3. (b) the increase or decrease in assessed value does not exceed the lesser 4. (i) $1,000 from the previous year's assessed value; and 5. (ii) 1% of the previous year's assessed value. 2. This Bylaw shall come into force and take effect on, from and after the final passing thereof. 3. Bylaw No. 65 of 2001 is hereby repealed.
