TOWN OF RAYMORE Bylaw 2020-05
Water & Sewer Rates
A Bylaw of the Town of Raymore to fix the rates to be charged for the use and consumptions of water and to fix the rates charged by way of rent or service charge for the use of sewer.
The Council of the Town of Raymore, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
Person who own premises connected to the water system or are required by bylaw to be connected to the system, shall pay a monthly charge as per Schedule "A" of this bylaw.
For all new or leased premises connected to the system there shall be a levy against
the person owning the premises a meter or security deposit as follows
Meter Deposit .................................................... $100.00
All disconnect services shall be charged a reconnection charge of $150.00
Persons who own premises drained, or required by bylaw to be drained into the sewer system, shall pay for such services a quarterly charge in Accordance with schedule "A"
Each customer shall pay a quarterly infrastructure fee as per schedule "B"
All persons connected to water and sewer system charges imposed thereon, shall be billed quarterly and payable within 30 day of date of billing.
Accounts for water service and/or sewer service shall cover a period of 3 successive months, and shall be rendered on or before the first day of the month next following such period.
Accounts shall be paid within a period of thirty days from the date on which such accounts are rendered. If an account is not paid within the period of thirty days, an interest charge of 3% shall be added and a second notice issued.
7.If the account remains unpaid one-week later after the second notice a twenty-dollar penalty shall be added, a third notice will be issued. Within 3 days of the third notice, water service may be discontinued without further notification, the water service may be cut off.
8.When the water service is cut off, it shall not be turned on until all arrears have been paid, together with a fee of $ 150.00, to cover the expenses of turning off the water and turning it on again.
9. The Schedule attached hereto and marked "A" shall take effect in all respect as Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" of Bylaw 2020-05
10.This Bylaw repeals Bylaw 4/99 and Bylaw 02/17
11.This Bylaw was passed by council on September 16, 2020
The rates, charges, tolls or rents contained in this bylaw shall come into force and take effect on the day of approval being issued by the Local Government Committee.
