RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF BJORKDALE NO. 426
BYLAW NO. 4 - 2023
A BYLAW OF THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF BJORKDALE NO. 426 TO
PROVIDE FOR THE SETTING, COLLECTING AND ENFORCEMENT OF THE
FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR HAMLET WATER UTILITY SERVICES
The Council of the Rural Municipality of Bjorkdale No. 426, in the Province of
Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
1. That the annual fees for water service for the Hamlet of Chelan shall be
those set out in Schedule "A" attached.
2. That the annual fees for water service for the Hamlet of Crooked River shall
be those set out in Schedule "B" attached.
3. Billing is completed annually.
4. Any fees incurred for hooking up or disconnection to any main water lines is
at the expense of the developer.
5. That any rate, charge or fee that is in arrears after December 31, of the year
in which it was billed, the amount of the rate, charge or fee may, at the
discretion of Council, be added to, and by its addition form part of, the taxes
on the land or improvement with respect to which the water service was
provided.
6. Bylaw No. 3-2009 is hereby repealed.
The rates contained in this bylaw shall come into force and take effect on the
day of approval being issued by the Local Government Committee.
