## BYLAW NO. 23/07 ## A Bylaw of the Rural Municipality of Corman Park in the Province of Saskatchewan to Regulate the Use of Water Tank Filling Stations in the Municipality. The Council of the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: 1. In this Bylaw: - a) "Bylaw Enforcement Officer" means members of the Corman Park Police Service of the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344. - b) "Coin" means a legal quarter, loonie, or toonie to be placed in the water vending machine for the purpose of operating the mechanism to obtain water. - c) "Council" means the Council of the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344. - d) "Municipality" means the Director of Operations for the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 or his delegate. - e) "Property" means any of the following locations: 7. 33rd Street Well - located on the north west corner of NW-14-37-6-W3. 8. Clarence Avenue Well - located on portion of NW-10-36-5-W3. 9. North Well - located on Parcel A, in NE-34-38-5-W3. 10. North West Well - located on portion of SE-4-38-7-W3. - f) "R.M." means the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344. - g) "Token" means a token provided and sold by the Municipality or through its designate for the purpose of obtaining water from the system. - h) "Water vending machine" means the device that has been installed by the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 for the purpose of dispensing water to the public at the following locations: 2. 33d Street Well - located on the north west corner of NW-14-37-6-W3. 1. Clarence Avenue Well - located on portion of NW-10-36-5-W3. 3. North Well - located on Parcel A, in NE-34-38-5-W3. 4. North West Well - located on portion of SE-4-38-7-W3. 2. a) No person shall deposit or cause to be deposited in the water vending machine any slug, device or metal or other substitution for a coin or token, or deface, injure, tamper with or impair the usefulness of the water vending machine. - b) No person shall enter or attempt to enter the building in which the water vending machine is located. - c) The provisions of subsections a) and b) above shall not apply to an authorized employee or agent of the R.M. 3. No person shall post a sign on the water vending machine without the approval of the Municipality. No person shall deface or remove any sign that has been approved by the Municipality. 4. No person shall have any chemical or chemical containers sealed or otherwise within 50 metres of the property where water vending machines are located as specified under Section 1 above. 5. a) Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of this Bylaw or fails to comply therewith or with any notice given thereunder shall be liable to the penalties as herein provided. - b) The penalty for breach of any of the preceding sections shall on summary conviction be One Thousand - xx/100 ($1,000.00) dollars. - c) Where a person has committed or is alleged to have committed a breach of any provisions of this Bylaw, a ticket in Form "A" attached to and forming part of this Bylaw may be served on such person by the Bylaw Enforcement Officer requiring him to pay to the R.M. the sum of Five Hundred - xx/100 ($500.00) dollars. If payment is received within seven (7) days from the date of the issuance of the ticket, and accepted, then the person shall not be liable for further court action. 6.
