RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF HEART’S HILL NO. 352
BYLAW NO. 1/24
A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH BUILDING PERMIT FEES
The Council of the Rural Municipality of Heart’s Hill No. 352 in the Province of
Saskatchewan enacts as follows:
1. This bylaw shall be referred to as the “Building Permit Fees Bylaw”.
2, Pursuant to this Building Permit Fees Bylaw, the fees for any Building Permit shall
be as follows:
a. A Building Permit Administration Fee of $50.00 for the processing,
handling and issuance of the permit.
b. A Building Official Inspection Fee based on the Value of Construction:
i. The fee for plan review, field inspection of construction, and
enforcement is in accordance with the agreement between the provider
of Building Official Services and the Rural Municipality of Heart’s
Hill No. 352 (the Municipality).
c. The maintenance fee of $25.00 charged by the Saskatchewan Assessment
Management Agency.

. The Building Permit Fee will be invoiced and collected before the permit is issued.
4, Additional fees may be charged if extra inspections are required due to failure of the
owner to properly notify the Municipality in accordance with Section 7 of The
Construction Codes Act.

. Unpaid Fees will be considered a debt due to the Municipality and may be recovered
from the owner of the land or premises in which the work was carried out as per The
Municipalities Act.

. This bylaw shall come into force and take effect upon receiving third reading.
