## BYLAW 245-2002
A BYLAW TO PROHIBIT OBSTRUCTIONS ADJACENT TO CERTAIN ROAD ALLOWANCES.
The Council for the Rural Municipality of Riverside No. 168, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
- For the purpose of this bylaw the expression; (A) "municipality" means the Rural Municipality of Riverside No. 168 of
(B) "road" means any road allowance within the municipality other than:
Saskatchewan
(1) a private road; or
(2) a provincial highway
## (C) "other object" does not include fence lines.
(A) Ninety (90) meters from the intersection of the centre lines of any municipal roads; (B) Forty-six (46) meters from the centre line of any municipal road.
No person shall hereafter plant trees or shrubs or place stone, earth or gravel piles, porpable structures, permanent structures, machinery or other objects on private The Council may by order, direct the owner of any private property upon which a tree or shrub has been planted, or a stone, earth or gravel pile, portable structure, permanent structure, machinery or other object has been placed in contravention of the provisions of Section 2 hereof, to remove the same within a time stated in such an order and the provisions of Section 173 of the Rural Municipality Act, 1989, shall apply, mutatis mundis, if the owner fails to comply with the order.

The Council may at their discretion, and by resolution provide for the removal of the items mentioned pursuant to section 3, at the expense of the municipality, any items which are:
(A) Ninety (90) meters from the intersection of the centre lines of any municipal roads. (B) Forty-six (46) meters from the centre line of any municipal road.

Any person who contravenes the provisions of Section 2 and 5 hereof, is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to the penalties imposed in the general penalty bylaw of the municipality.
The above is pursuant to Section 206 (j) and (n) of the Rural Municipality Act,
1989.
Bylaw No. 132 is hereby repealed.
