Bylaw No. 8067 The Assessment Notices Bylaw, 2002 Codified to Bylaw No. 10186 (May 27, 2026) BYLAW NO. 8067 The Assessment Notices Bylaw, 2002 The Council of The City of Saskatoon enacts: Short Title 1. This Bylaw may be cited as "The Assessment Notices Bylaw, 2002". Purpose 2. The purpose of this Bylaw is to dispense with the requirement to prepare assessment notices, except as provided in this Bylaw. Dispensing with Assessment Notices 3. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), the requirement to prepare assessment notices is dispensed with where the assessed value of any land or improvements: (a) has not changed from the previous year's assessed value; or (b) has increased or decreased by not more than the lesser of: (i) $1,000.00 from the previous year's assessed value; and (ii) 1% of the previous year's assessed value. (2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), assessment notices shall be prepared in any year in which assessable properties are revalued under the direction and supervision of the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency. Coming into Force 4. This Bylaw shall come into force on the day of its final passing. Read a first time this 17th day of December, 2001. Read a second time this 17th day of December, 2001.
