(_ ..___ . ---- ---- ---·------=- !--"-----#--- VILLAGE OF TUXFORD BYLAW NO. 2-98 A BYLAW TO PROHIBIT THE BURNING OF RUBBISH OR WASTE MATERIAL WITHIN THE VILLAGE BOUNDARIES . The Council of the Village of Tuxford in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows: 1. The open burning of rubbish or flammable material is prohibited in the Village of Tuxford , unless a permit is obtained from the Clerk/Administrator , or any member of Village Council . 2. All burning without a permit shall be done in a properly constructed brick or metallic burner covered with a suitable 1 /8 inch wire mesh or in an incinerator of a design approved by a representative of Council . 3. No person shall start the burning of straw, weeds, grass or fire a stubble field until a permit has been obtained from the ClerlcJAdministrator, or any member of Village Council . No such permit will be issued unless the applicant undertakes to see that the fire is kept under complete control at all times by the following methods: (a) All burning to take place in daylight hours. (b) Must be attended at al/ times. (c) To be completely extinguished before attendant leaves. (d) No burning to take place within 15 ft. of any building . 4. Burning of railroad ties within the Village limits is not permitted at any time . 5. A person who contravenes the provisions of this bylaw is guilty of an offence and upon conviction, shall be liable to a fine of no less than $50. and no greater than $500. 6. Permits will be in the form set out in schedule "A" , forming part of this Bylaw .
