CITY OF WARMAN
BYLAW NO. 2025-09
A BYLAW OF THE CITY OF WARMAN TO FIX
AND LEVY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2025
The Council of the City of Warman in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts Bylaw
No. 2025-09 as follows:
1. This bylaw will be referred to as "The Property Tax Bylaw".
2. "Mill Rate" means a tax rate expressed as mills per dollar (ex. One mill is equal
to 1/1,000 of a dollar or $1 in tax for every $1,000 of assessment).
3. The purpose of this bylaw is:
a) To authorize Council to impose a tax on all taxable assessments in the City
using a mill rate, subject to a set mill rate factor, and establish a base tax
considered sufficient to raise the amount of taxes required to meet the
estimated expenditures and transfers, having regard to estimated
revenues from other sources, as set out in the current year budget.
b) To authorize the City to levy and collect taxes on behalf of the Board of
Education of the Prairie Spirit School Division no. 206 and the Greater
Saskatoon Catholic School Division No. 20 for the current year.
4. Whereas the Property Tax Bylaw authorizes the Council to impose a tax on all
taxable assessments in the City, the following rate of taxation will be levied for
